Planning Commission Meeting

The Meeting started at 7:00 PM
Present were: Barb Veldman, Mike Sikkenga, Lyle Monette, Jim Cordray, Mark Slater
Perfection of Agenda: None
Minutes: Lyle made a motion to approve the minutes dated July 31, 2019 and Mark seconded the motion. The minutes were unanimously approved.
New Business: A variance request for address 11314 Hemlock was reviewed by the Planning Commission. It was noted that a previous variance request was given to this address regarding a similar situation. The Planning Commission cannot grant a second variance and the request must be sent on to the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Task of the Meeting:
The final review of the 5th revision of the proposed ordinance resulted in the following recommended changes.
It was determined that the proposed mobile home park district will be from the center line of White Lake Dr. to 1320’ North. The east and west lines would be between Russell Rd and Putnam Rd.
On page 380:34 of the 5th revision under 381-16 A. It is proposed to be changed to “The property must be included in the CO or any of the FR districts.” (In regard to Outdoor Furnaces)
On page 380:109 under G. (6). It is proposed to be changed to “No portion of the WECS may be located closer to any Lot Line than 1500 feet.” (In regard to Commercial Wind Energy Conversion Systems)
